How to I Do Begging Online?

There is a new form of “begging” that is becoming very popular and common online. Also known by names such as cyber begging and online begging, begging online works similar to asking for a donation to a charity or cause. The process is very simple and requires very little effort on the beggar’s behalf.

How to Do Online Begging

First, the “beggar” (referred to from this point forward as the “poster”) finds a site that is specifically geared towards people such as themselves, who have found themselves in some type of situation where they need a little extra money. The poster then creates their campaign and lets the visitor know how much money they need. For most, this is less embarrassing than physically begging the traditional way or asking friends and family for money.

Most stories are everyday: people who have lost jobs, vets needing to make ends meet, people needing money to open or maintain a business. The different situations vary considerably, but they all have one thing in common: there is a human need to know that people care, and being able to rely on the kindness of a complete stranger is a powerful thing to a lot of people.

Many of these sites are free to use, but some may require a small fee, donation, or take a specific amount out of each donation that the poster receives. Donation goals vary from $100 to over $20,000, and in many cases, it is up to the visitor how much they would like to contribute. A lot of people have been very successful at campaigning for money. A few of the bigger success stories involved the poster starting their own site. Any way one chooses to do it, online begging can be a great way for someone to pull through a very rough patch in time.
